that is - self - awareness
awareness of awareness
awareness postulates itself

but this tells us nothing
how does this happen?
we can't say
it just happens -
and I hate saying that
awareness - can't be explained
except as what it is not
and this is no help
what is non-awareness?
not aware -
awareness as an inexplicable feature of this world -
perhaps because - it is not out there - not observable
- it is the observing -
how is it known in other entities?
we see signs of it?
it recognizes itself?
how?
the inner dimension - of one entity -
connects with the inner dimension of another
how?
what could this connection be?
the idea of a universal consciousness -
an inner dimension of everything
that knows itself
